  1. Hiya, i'm also a K1 London stuck at the NVC, and just joined the London mandamus lawsuit. Im trying to contact every NOA 2 I can, VJ shows where everyone is in their timeline which is handy. If you got your NOA2 within the last year, even if you got it in the last week, the mandamus is the best course of action to get your case moving from the NVC, or its gonna be stuck their for potentially a year or so, as the embassy still haven't moved anyone other than plaintiffs in other cases from the NVC to the Embassy. they show no sign of changing soon. London only did 38 k1 interviews last month and they were all plaintiffs in a lawsuit with the same lawyers as this mandamus lawsuit so you can expect good results. the backlog is huge so this is the best chance for a speedier process. The deadline is June 4th.

    Hope to see you join. We have a great facebook group with very helpful people who are in the same position as you. (see link below.)

    Here is the post that I made with more details:

    Hi everyone, If you are stuck at the NVC and interviewing at London for your K1, please join the London Mandamus lawsuit.

    “We will ask the judge to order the State Department to immediately process the plaintiffs’ applications, promptly schedule interview appointments, and issue visas for approved cases.”

    The deadline is June 4th. You must have your NOA 2. (doesn't matter if you got it last week or months ago, you will benefit from this lawsuit).  Once you have your NOA2, provide your USCIS number or NVC number if you have it. (call the embassy after a month of getting your NOA2 notice if you need you NVC number and invoice number)

    The Embassy is not processing anyone unless they are in a lawsuit or already at the embassy and the backlog is only growing. They are a year behind in interviews. The embassy website say they are processing, but if you contact the NVC they say they are UNAWARE the embassy is processing visas. In April 2021 they interviewed 38 K1's and they were all Plaintiffs of Milligan round 1 and 2

    You need to join a lawsuit if you want to get anywhere. the only people with interviews were in the Milligan v Pompeo lawsuit  and the few people already at the embassy from before the pandemic.  This lawsuit is very much like Milligan. All Milligan round 1 and 2 and half of 3 have or have had their interviews appointments. and the half of round three are a the the embassy now and will have an appointment shortly. The London Mandamus is the same lawyers as Milligan so expect good results.

    Price $2,500 or $2000 if you are a Kinsley Plaintiff or in military. (it might seem like a lot, but this is you best chance to not be waiting potentially over a year for an interview. The embassy need to be interview 200 K1's a month to reduce the backlog, and even then, that will take about 8 months to get it back to normal.) This lawsuit will help K-1 applicants who plan to apply for visas at the US Consulate in London, United Kingdom, and who already have an I-129F petition approved by USCIS.

    This includes people in all of the following situations:

    • An I-129F has been approved, but the case is stuck at the National Visa Center;
    • The NVC sent the case to the consulate, but a visa interview has not been scheduled;
    • The interview has been scheduled and cancelled or postponed;
    • The interview has happened, but the case is stuck in administrative processing;
    • The K-1 visa was issued, but because of travel restrictions, the K-1 beneficiary was unable to travel before the visa expired and the consulate has not reissued the visa.
