Hello everyone,
My wife and I's I-130 should be approved in the next 3 months. It has me thinking about the affidavit of support. I currently don't work and have not been able to work for the past 2 years. I do have enough money to cover the amount necessary to sponsor my wife due to an inheritance. The majority of that money is still in the estate account that I've been pulling out here and there to deposit into my personal bank account.
What I'm wondering is if it will look bad if I decide to pull out all that money at once to deposit into my bank account so close to the eventual filing of the affidavit of support? Unfortunately it's the only shot I have of sponsoring my wife due to medical issues so I'm hoping it wouldn't cause issues. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
