  1. yeah I believe United started nonstop to Manila from San Francisco as of October of last year so that definitely be a good option for you to check out. I'm in the know because my wife's relatives work for United out there in San francisco. haha!
  2. Just a thought, but my wife and I went to the philippines last yr., and we went philippine airlines. We took delta to LA, and then philippine airlines direct to manila. I believe united airlines has nonstop from san francisco to manila now as well. So there are ways to avoid landing in other countries if you want. My wife had zero issues with her 4 yr. extension letter.
  3. yep, in the same boat. last notification from USCIS was February 9th of 22 that fingerprints were being reused so we are going on 2 years we're at 23 months right now. we are Potomac service center which says processing time is 31 months so I guess on the positive side hopefully we don't have too much longer to wait. hold in there buddy well we'll get there eventually hopefully.
  4. we are January of 2022 so we're about it 23 months now approaching 2 years here very shortly. we have not applied for n400 like others so I guess that's maybe why we are waiting longer. it definitely seems like if you apply for citizenship for some reason that knocks lose your i-751 and speeds things up. we are at Potomac service center to where the current processing times are 31 months. on the positive side we only have seven more months to go I guess if 80% of cases are adjudicated within 31 months. haha!
  5. Nothing here either We applied on 1/19/22. We are at potomac service center. Not doing n400 either.
  6. yes my friend I realize that, but I am just hoping it's in the ballpark a little bit.
  7. that's great to hear! I'm glad some people are finally getting their 10-year card. my wife and I applied about a week after you last year on the 19th of January. we are Potomac service center though. I hope we hear something soon. the Visa journey timeline for approval has been pretty consistent lately it's saying about the 16th of August for us. I know that's not the government it's an average of Visa journey users, but it is quite hopeful that maybe we will find out something soon.
  8. I don't think so. My wife is fine with waiting it out for the 10 yr card. Maybe if we are still waiting this time next yr. we might consider it.
  9. I just got home from work and checked the mail. We got our extension letter today to. It's not the most exciting news, but what are you gonna do.
  10. How long are you going to be gone? why can't you just send it when you and your husband return? are you going to be gone for longer than 3 months? I realize you're in a really tough situation, but I would wait till after your window opens a few days before I sent the package. The USCIS could refuse your package, and then you guys will have a serious headache. I would not leave anything to chance. I would not send the package till 3 or 4 days after the window opens. I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide I hope it works out
  11. it would probably be all right if it got there right on the 90 day opening window, having aaid that, I would not risk it with something that important. There is absolutely no chance of a family member or somebody that could send it for you a few days later? There are members here much more knowledgeable than I, that can give you better advice I'm sure, but with something of this magnitude, I would not risk sending it early or it arriving on the day of the 90 days I would not do it.
  12. negative my friend, not since biometrics update in February. I'm hoping for something by late this year, or early next year.
  13. nope, nothing here. I haven't had a notification since February 9th which was fingerprints were being applied to the application.
  14. Yep! I think they changed it from 18 months to 24 months September of last year cuz of the backlog from covid I believe.
  15. you are all good now I'm sure. just a minor two week delay now you're back in business. 👍😀
