On a serious note, I am still waiting to hear about the DS-156 with the Barcode?!! :help: Does that form have to be used now, or can you still use the blank one they have at the BNK site?

I used the DS-156 from the state dept's website and it printed with the bar-code. When the lady at window #5 took the paper, she DID inspect the front page with the bar-code, then ripped it off and threw it away. I wouldn't know what would of happened if I had not used the version of the DS-156 with the bar-code...My opinion= I'd use the one from the state dept that you can print out with the bar-code.

So how are things going? Hope all is well with you & Chutima!! As for us, the baby is keeping us busy and TIRED

It sucks that the VJ server crashed bacuse there was A LOT of useful info and funny stories from the original Sawasdee Thread, I hope they can revive it.

Thanks for your reply. I will go with the barcode version as suggested. As for the birth certificate being translated, I know you didn't get Pocky's translated, or the police certificates translated, but since we already have her BC translated, I'll take a copy.

I can only imagine how tired you guys are with the baby! Hang in there!!! :thumbs: Chutima and I hope to have that same problem in the not too distant future! ;):blush:

Things are well with Chutima and me, but the wait is becoming a pain. :( So to ease the pressure, I'm making a surprise trip to Thailand three weeks from today to be with Chutima for her B-day, and take her shopping at the new Siam Paragon! :dance: Will only be there for a week, but it's better than not seeing each other at all! Plus, will add more boarding passes to the proof of relationship pile!!! :lol:

Well, she has been sick since fri morn, and has slept most of that time. So, we will be testing some OTC meds (one at a time of course) to see how she responds.

So it was up to me to make lunch yesterday and I made Panang chicken ... I think .. :lol:

So, I hope she is not sick on Fri when we have our civil ceremony.

Anya - have fun at your reception.

My dad's side of the family (he has 11 siblings) are having a family reunion in July, so we are doing our reception the night before as many of the family will be in town anyway ...

I hope she gets to feeling better!!

Thanks. I called her at 8am this morning and has had finally gotten out of bed at 6am. She still hasn't eaten yet as she says she is not hungary. So I told her to at least drink some water.

I think the stress of a new home, odd food, cold weather and exposure to all our germs is taking a small toll on her until she can adjust. :wacko:

I also have been getting exciting and planning starting a sole proprierter business around her thai flower craft, until i realized she will probably need her EAD to legally do anything with it! Well, at least I have the website registered and can register the name with the state. And I could just put in all in my name until she gets the EAD and then transfer it.

Plus I need to get a few things done for the AOS and maybe take out a small loan to pay the application fees! :lol:
