Where the F is my file? I was approved on 9/7 and the NVC still does not have my file. Two months ago, CSC was sending files to the NVC within a few days. What the F happened to that???

The clowns at the NVC tell me that cannot do anything until 90 days!!!! Are they f'ing nuts?????

I am getting super pissed with this whole f'ing process. My senator is not willing to help at this point. Other than waiting, does anyone have any suggestions?

It really is horrible. But, I have heard someone calling the NVC and they told him/her that CSC is also sending petitions directly to the consulate's/embassies. So you mite wanna try emailing the new delhi embassy and give them your CSC receipt number and ask if they have received it or not.

"The clowns at the NVC tell me that cannot do anything until 90 days!!!! Are they f'ing nuts?????"

Yup! Totally worthless NUTS!!!

Everytime they lose a file, they should deduct from their paycheck!!!

I bet service would be great and lost files a thing of the past!!!

I hate paperpusher's!

Gonna try again.

I was approved on the same day 9/7/2006 and i just got off the phone with CSC and they said my petition is in the mail room waiting to be mailed.

i then ask if that is normal procedure and she said no, so she called the mail room and they told her its in a supervisors office and she isnt sure why.

She asked for my phone number and is about to call me back and let me know whats going to happen next.

I have been calling nvc for the last 2 weeks for nothing:(

The last time i called csc they said it was about to be mailed out and that was on 9/25.

I am so tired of the way these govt procedures play with our minds and noone is accountable .

I just got off the phone with an agent at the USCIS (G8535 Shannon) and she told me that ALL I-129F petitions that are NOT filed in conjunction with an I-130 are mailed directly to the embassy or consulate. She said as of late last year, they DO NOT go to the NVC.

When I asked about the wording on the NOA2, she said it simply has not been changed yet to reflect this. I asked if she was 100% sure and she said YES….

I dont believe i would trust the people at uscis misinformation line, there are many petitioners in the last few months that have gone to the nvc and recieved their embassy case numbers.

I am not sure about this but all petitions go to the nvc and they are assigned a case number no matter what the type of visa being applied for.

Someone else can correct me if i am wrong but from what i have been reading for the last 7 months on here and other visa help sites all petitions go to nvc before being forwarded to the embassy's

I just got off the phone with the NVC - our petition was approved September 5th and the NVC has still not received our case either ... I can hardly bear the thought of calling the USCIS, I guess I will try emailing the Vancouver embassy in Canada and see if they received it directly like is being suggested might be the case. If the file is STILL back at the CSC ... I don't know if my sanity can remain intact much longer! AH!
