Yellow bars...do they matter? Help, Aussiewench!!

I have done my DS 230 way in advance and sent it to my husband, ready for him to send when the time is right. The yellow bars did print out as I have a colour printer.

DO THEY MATTER?

If so, I will have to do the whole form again, and although that's not a problem, I could do with knowing!

The USCIS is no longer ####### about colors, the G-325A form used to be colored as such, page 1 white, page 2 pastel green, page 3 pastel pink, and page 4 pastel blue. They did not reject the ones you submitted all in white paper did they?

They will accept nice laser printed black and white forms, that is why the fillable ones are available one line.

Hi,

I used the downloaded version for the DS-230 with the yellow highlights and the form was accepted by NVC. I don't think it should be a problem.

Good luck.

If you use a black and white printer to print the DS 230, then the yellow highlighted area won't be visible.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Just to point out to you. The USCIS and NVC (the NVC is the department that the OP is at), are two different fish ;)

Please at least read the question and understand the process a little before answering CR-1 questions as it may give others a bum steer.

YuAndDan: The OP was asking about the DS 230 downloaded forms where the yellow highlighted areas are visible, if one print them out using the color printer. Did you read the question before you answered? Where did the OP ask about G-325A?

USCIS website has fillable G-325A on its website. But USCIS does not deal with DS 230, it is NVC and the Embassy who deal with DS 230.
