Just called NVC and spoke to a person. My case does not appear in their system yet. The guy said that it can take 60-90 days to appear in their system!! That is strange! Does that mean the case might be there but not entered in their system for 30-60 days? Any comments?

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.

Looking at your timeline sig, you were touched on the 12th, which could have been when CSC sent your petition to the NVC.

It usually takes 1-3 weeks after NOA2 before your case appears in the NVC system, so hang in there. Call them again next week and see if they have any more info for you.

good luck

I doubt it will take that long, just keep calling to see if they've received it. I was approved at the CSC on August 30th, and began calling the NVC within a few days of that. I called every day until Friday, when my case was still not there. I called yesterday morning and my case was not only received but scheduled to go out that day. It'll get there, don't worry!

Don't panic, it appears that no matter what stage you are at you always get the standard response and then you find out that you are there before you know it

I thought they sent them in batches. I am sure I saw someone from CSC with approval in early Sept got their NVC number already, and forwarded.... oh well! I am used to being stuck at CSC.

That would just be the normal thing to do wouldn't it? Why not send them in batches??

That's all I'm thinking about too..... :(

But Rio is already setting interview dates for November, so I'm not sure that will be possible.
