A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Just a note of advice.

When you sign your signature ensure you sign with your full name.

Do not use any abbreviation or else you can get an RFE for your signature.

Good luck

 #######. Has anyone gotten through with no RFE with an abbreviated signature? My fiance always signs with just his first letter and last name, and we didn't think twice about it, but reading this makes me worried. Dunno if I should send him copies again and have his proper signature on it, or risk getting an RFE. :(

(Hate double posting but I can't seem to edit my last post)

Does this include middle names as well, or just first name and last? Cause if I have to include middle as well, I'll have to redo all of mine as well... not as big of a deal, but I wanted to be sure... I always use my middle initial in my signature, same one on my passport and ID.

Yah...UH OH! My fiancé always just signs with his last name. I didn't think twice about it either. Just looked, saw he'd signed, and put it in the packet. Dang...That makes me very nervous...

Alrighty then... expecting my first RFE... :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I did not catch that there were 4 pages, all identical except for where they would eventually go with the G-325A... So... :crying::crying::crying:

We each did one while I was in Sharjah... Why, pray tell, isn't there a single ORIGINAL submitted G-325A which goes with your I-129f packet, and is copied AT THE SERVICE CENTER AND THEN SENT TO THE VARIOUS OTHER AGENCIES????

OFFICIALLY PISSED AT BOTH MYSELF, AND THE IDIOTS WHO EXPECTS 4 HANDWRITTEN IDENTICAL DOCUMENTS BECAUSE ONLY AN ORIGINAL WILL DO IN 4 DIFFERENT PLACES... BUT MAINLY PISSED AS HELL AT MYSELF...:angry::angry::angry:

Well I see there is one minor difference on the first page, no big boxes for official use only... And of course, the footers are different for each page...

I am still angry with myself, I did sort of wonder why I had printed up so many of this particular form when I was in Sharjah, half way around the world, filling out these forms with the person I have wanted to meet for over 2 years... And obviously failed to catch that it wasn't just in case we made a mistake and wanted our form to be tidy so we would use a new one... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I will get an RFE, fix the problem and move on, but unless there was a huge scandal involving service centers sending out fraudulent COPIES of G-325A forms in the past, this is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. From some of the stories on here, it likely won't last as the dumbest though.

Aw well... I can't help feeling like an idiot myself though...

I really hope we're wrong about this, too, my fingers are crossed for you! My mother (who had to go through a visa process with her ex husband) has said that I was stupid to think a first initial was enough (Nevermind that she doesn't typically sign her full name either!!) but to me it seems almost suspicious to sign differently than we do on our passports, IDs, cheques, and everything else, so I'm really not sure what to think!

Ooh, and just saw cristy's reply, and I'm hopeful that works out for us as well!!

Well I would say you are likely to be ok with his signature. And I agree, you should sign the forms as you would sign any other document. To sign it differently should create a problem... Good luck to you! My guess is your forms will pass muster and be ok!
