London Embassy "Notice of Receipt"

We sent our I-130 to the USCIS London on May 7th and earlier this week we received this via email:

Notice of Receipt of Petition for Alien Relative.pdf

Apologies for crossposting this question in the UK region forums, but am I right in thinking this is not our NOA (seeing as it says it's a receipt)? The Embassy website says that as at May 11th they're processing petitions filed on April 16th, but I'm not sure if that information is for issuing the NOA1 or the NOA2 before sending the pack on the IVU.

Any help from those who've already been here will be massively appreciated!

That's your NOA1. Processing April 16th means people who filed around then should be getting their NOA2s soon, so when the date on that website gets closer to your NOA1 date, May 13th, start getting excited :)

Cripes, that was fast!

I wanted to believe that it was the NOA1 which is why I posted, but it just seemed to happen so quickly and calling it a receipt in the file name didn't help either.

Wow. I am excited now, I thought we were going to have a 4 week wait followed by a 2 month wait, but if this is our NOA1 then we've had a 6 day wait to be followed by a 4-5 week wait. Excellent news!!

Me too! Moving is stressful enough without immigration adding to the complications that shipping furniture, transporting pets, finding a new house, abandoning your friends and family and deserting your career already bring with them

::fingers crossed for both of us::
