I've heard some harrowing tales of people who've gone door to door for Obama in certain Jersey neighborhoods. He'll still win the state but the pockets of opposition can be pretty hardcore and violent.

I was at our home base in Wayne, NJ a few weeks ago and the mood around the office was pro Obama. I wasn't real surprised though. We are hauling the sound equipment out to Denver for the DNC. I may actually be the one doing it. I'll know Tuesday or Wednesday.

Charles, you may be right about how the trucking companies fare. We are currently going through a purging. The strongest are surviving. Our company isn't a run of the mill trucking company though. Entertainment is always going to be there and we'll (at least they) will be there to provide the logistical support. I'm sewing my parachute now. I plan on bailing in November.

Judging by the fact that he had to change venues to Invesco Field at Mile High there must be a demand. Maybe the Republicans can hire people to come see their candidate. They seem to have the resources to artificially inflate sales of a certain work of fiction via bulk sales. Maybe they can give the book away at the door. It will certainly be cheaper to burn it than home heating oil this winter.

Well I didn't dom the show, but would have loved to have been there. Usually crowds of 80,000 turn me off, but that was history in the making.
