Listen to this conversation between USC(P) and USCIS (CS) ..This innocent USC who was happily married to his beautiful wife , filed I-130 and dreaming everyday , one day he calls USCIS after 3 months being frustrated ...to know whats going on.......

P) dials...800..........(S)number

CS) Hello ...this is USCIS ...how may i help you sir ...

P)Hi...I mailed an application (I-130)for my wife ..3 months ago ...I have not heard from you all ..calling to find out whats the status on my case......

CS) where did you mail it ?

P) ...I mailed to "Lock Box " address..

CS) oooops ...sorry you made BIG mistake ...

P) What ......

CS) If you mail your application to LOCK BOX , It goes straight to "HELL" there it stays for a while where you will be punished a lot for months ...some times years too ..then it goes to "OPEN BOX" (Heaven ).for god sake..Where it gets approved faster.

you could have mailed to OPEN BOX (Heaven ) address

P) Open box ....asks surprisingly ..

CS) yes ...Its heaven where things are better , you will be approved faster without going through any pain ,if you want you drop application... personally ...

P) I Can drop it personally ?? wow ...How do I get there ....?

CS)It's easy .....all you need to take some 100 ...Pills then go to sleep , you will be there next day morning ...(superfast) without any pain going through local "LOCK BOX " immigration process

P )I wish I could have done that earlier , had I known this "Hell and Heaven mail boxes" ...OR I could not have married .......angrily hung up the phone ...

02/08/08 NOA1 Notice Date

02/12/08 Received NOA1 hardcopy

08/11/08 Received approval email (after 7 months and 3 days...Waiting)

08/15/08 Received NOA2 hardcopy

NVC Journey

08/13/08 NVC case# assigned

08/19/08 DS-3032 e mail sent and got auto response

08/20/08 Received IIN#(one nice rep gave me number)

08/22/08 paid I-864 bill online

08/23/08 I-864 bill status "PAID" online(saturday) but AVR message says " case number assigned ....blah

08/23/08 Printed out I-864 package online and Barcode sheet

08/25/08 I-864 package sent overnight

08/25/08 DS3032 Hardcopy sent by express mail (Hopefully they accept it ..But AVR says AOS fee received/paid on 08/23/08)

08/26/08 I-864 package received per USPS

08/28/08 I-864 package entered into NVC system

08/27/08 NVC accepted DS-3032 (But AVR does not say that)

08/28/08 IV bill generated ( still AVR does NOT say that) but online INVOICE says "NOT PAID"

08/28/08 IV bill paid online "IN PROCESS" status

08/29/08 IV bill "PAID" status (AVR says , they received DS3032)

08/29/08 DS-230 generated

09/02/08 DS-230 and required documents mailed

09/03/08 DS-230 form arrives at NVC per usps

09/04/08 DS-230 information entered into NVC system

09/15/08 CASE COMPLETE(32 days no RFE)

10/15/08 sent to consulate

11/10/08 Medical PASSED

11/18/08 Interview....VISA GRANTED ...

11/29/08 ..POE at Houston

12/15/08 ..Welcome letter

12/16/08 ..SSN received

12/29/08 Green card received

Application Upgraded - Dec 05 2008

Touched- Dec 23 2008

Case approved at USCIS - July 20th 2009

NVC assigned case number- July 28th 2009...yeah!!

DS3032 mailed to us by NVC - Aug 3rd 2009

DS3032 emailed to NVC - Aug 5th 2009

AOS fee paid - Aug 5th 2009

AOS fee accepted - Aug 8th 2009-yeah!!

Email frm NVC to send I864 - Aug 19th 2009

I864 sent - Aug 20th 2009

I864 received by NVC - Aug 24th 2009

DS3032 accepted - Aug 24th 2009 Yeah email from NVC DS3032 processed:)

IV bill paid - Aug 25th 2009

DS230 sent to NVC - Sep 2nd 2009

DS230 received by NVC - Sep 4th 2009

I864 & DS230 processed by NVC - still waiting:(god willing it should be soon:)

RFE on DS230 - Sep 17th 2009 - NVC requires original Birth and Marriage certificate:(

Original certificates sent - Sep 19th 2009

NVC received docs - Sep 22nd 2009 - still waiting for some good news....

CASE COMPLETE - OCT 5th 2009 - YEAH...NOW AM WAITING FOR AN INTERVIEW DATE..GOD WILLING THAT WILL B NEXT MONTH:)

INTERVIEW email - Oct 13th 2009

INTERVIEW DATE - NOV 20TH 2009....YEAH...YIPPY...AM SUPER EXCITED!!

Yeah interview over just have to submit one document tht was missing then i will get my visa!!nov 22nd 2009

I just reading VJ now. Couldn't log in the entire day due to a production live.

Sgr, true - without this project make live, I cannot go to India for this upcoming vacation. I am reading all the postings now! I paid my I-864 AOS Bill Fee online today!
