Hi to all!

I'm new in this site and I find the information posted here very helpful! I have a question regarding my upcoming medical exam next month. How true is it that having hemorrhoid will cause you to fail in the medical exam? I have hemorrhoid since high school but it's not painful. there's somewhat like a piece of skin in my butt hole that protrudes outside each time it took long for me to poop and i pushed it back each time. but it's not giving me a problem at all. i'm worrying about this part. i truly need your advice & insights regarding this.thanks!

I am not sure about that but during my medical, the doctor examined only my breast if there's lumps on it, they took my blood sample, urine, eyesight, and they gave me two shots and x-ray. I think you should not really worry about hemorrhoid since they won't check that part. Don't be nervous, the medical exam is as easy as what you think its scary. Good luck! :rolleyes::huh:

I am sure that is not a reason to fail medical. Read the second post, it has a list of reasons for denial.

On guy check, they check that part..The examiner told to my fiance "tuwad", and he look at it..I don't know if he's examining for hemmoroids or what else..My question is, are you a man or woman eurie? because if you are man, they will definetely check ur naked butt..

There are many people in USA suffering from hemorroids. I do not believe they would delay your visa unless your hemorroids are of a rare type that is very infectious and harm causing to others.

The lady doctor checked that too but hemorrhoids are not contagious so it shouldn't be an issue :)

:thumbs::thumbs: There is no medical grounds to fail a beneficiary's medical exam because of hemorrhoids. You will be fine... If you are suffering from the adverse effects of hemorrhoids, upon arriving to the US, discuss treatment options with your new doctor.

The panel physician checked my back too... :blush::blush::blush: But like others have said, hemorrhoids will never be a reason to fail the medical exam.
