It's only for your NSO Documents like BC, MC and CENOMAR. The US Embassy can verify them as soon as they got your documents.. better to pay in advance (like 3-4 weeks before your interview) so not to cause any delay with the release of your visa.

The verification is because of a large number of counterfeit certificates. In the past the embassy would sometimes hold up a visa while they confirmed with NSO that the documents were real. In a way this fee is good because if we pay far enough in advance, the documents have been checked before the interview and it shortens the time before the visa is delivered. My wife had her visa delivered less than 48 hours aftr we walked out of the embassy. We had paid the fee 4 weeks in advance.

Go to the link that Rosenick gave you. As long as you follow the examples , you will gonna have a reply from delbros right away. It took me less than 5 mins in receiving their confirmation.

I paid the verification fee Php650 at Metrobank yesterday. But, I was ask to pay Php50.00 for service charge of which I didn't know :no: The teller said it's a policy if it is outside Metro Manila. Pay it as soon as you have your schedule to avoid delay. :star:
