iPhone owners

I've pretty much decided that I'm getting my husband an iPhone for Christmas. So I wanted to know if iPhone owners who already purchased one are happy with their choice? I know about the service contract and all that,but I want to know about the phone and if you're satisfied with it?

I know two people who had them and have since sold/traded them for smart-phones... (basically they thought they were cool, but that wore off quickly saying the phone isn't very practical).

My wife wants one. So I'm really interested in anyone and everyone's opinion and/or experience with the iPhone. The more in depth and percise with your pros and cons... the better.

P.S - We both have Blackberry Pearls. However, I simply adore my Pearl and would not trade it for anything else on the market (except a better Pearl).

I heard some good things about the IPHONE and some bad things i personally would no pay $300 plus for a small thin piece of plastic lol.

I am a diehard Apple user. I have had Macs since the very beginning. However, I waited for the 5th generation before I got an iPod and I will wait around the same for an iPhone. The current iPhone is fair at best. Leave it in the oven for now, it is far from done.

I cant speak about the Iphone but my employer just furnished us with this blackberry.

Honestly, I'd get an iPhone if I were you. It's just so much better than a Blackberry.
