You said that they received the I-864, the message can mean the following:

1. they are reviewing your I-864

2. I-864 RFE

3. completed reveiwing I-864, however waiting for your DS230

It's best to call NVC and ask which from the 3 is the true message.

:thumbs: Good luck.

Good morning all;

I mailed off the IV fee bill and it was delivered to NVC and Mike's dad sent in the I-864 and USPS showed that it was delivered but After checking the system every night I never received any message that it was received nor entered into the system.

Last night I called again and received the following message. What does that mean? We never submitted any documents except the IV bill and AOS.

NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and found info missing or incomplete. NVC mailed a letter on 11/29/2007 indicating what doc missing or incomplete. Please return the missing info to the NVC in and allow 6-8 weeks for review and you will be notified of the results????? :help::help:

Thanks Rina;

I think I will just wait for the letter since they "claim" they mailed it out 11/29, and see what is now needed. I am waiting for Mike to return his civil documents and the signed DS-230, so I am not in a rush right now.

Thanks again. :thumbs::thumbs:

We sent I-864. Then called NVC - the automatic system said - We found info missing or incomplete in financial papers.. and sent a checklist....

We thought that that checklist is RFE regarding Hubby's I-864. But the checklist just requested my DS-230. did this happen to any of you? and is it normal?

Hi guys;

Just an update. I finally received the letter from NVC tonight and they "claim they are missing the IV fee which I mailed out and delivery was confirmed. Would it be that they generated this letter before they actually entered processed the fee? How do I trace the money order to see if it was cashed? Does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Good news you guys, I just called and spoke with an NVC operator and she told me that the IV fee bill was actually received and processed on 11/28 and to disregard the letter sent out on 11/29. :dancing::dancing: So now I am just waiting for them to generate the DS-230. Yeah

Does anyone know how long they take to enter the IV bill in the system? According to info I received on 12/6 from the operator, they received the fee on 11/28. Does anyone know how to find out if the MO was cashed?

Thanks alot in advance.

Your DS 230 should be generated any day from now, if it has not been generated yet.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

:thumbs: It takes 2 days for posting by NVC after receipt of the IV bill, and then it takes about 7-10 days for them to cash the MO. Then, it will take at least 1-2 (sometimes 3) weeks for the DS230 generation. Good luck!

Hey guys;

I called the NVC again last night, since I had not received any correspondence from them since that last letter. The person I spoke with confirmed that the Visa fee was received on 11/28 and that a letter was sent out to me last week.

Can anyone speculate (I like to) what that could/would be? Could it be the DS-230? I would be so happy. But then again maybe not as Mike is dragging his feet with the police report. He is waiting until he get his christmas holidays to go take care of it. I am tired of talking to him about it. I wil let hime do it at his own pace. I have done my part.

Thanks for all your support.

Yes, for some reason, NVC doesn't actually send you the DS-230, just instructions on where to download it. They call this letter a "checklist letter." Most definitely, they are ready to receive the DS-230 with the letter they sent.

When undergoing Appointment NVC Processing, does the IVR message for "Left NVC" ever appear?

My case was completed on October 22, 2007, the interview was schedule by NVC on December 10, 2007, I have the appointment notice from NVC now, which directs me to contact the embassy with all further questions, but the IVR still only speaks about the Case Complete in October. Has the case left NVC yet, or when should it?
