Just thought I'd lay out a bit of information on who NOT to hire for immigration or any kind of help.

Olvis Travel and Immigration in Cebu!

I didn't know anything about the process when I did my first K1 and hired good old 100% guaranteed Mike.

Owner of Olvis Immigration and Travel that has a office in Cebu and he lives in Las Vegas.

He took me for a $1000 in 2003 and the visa was outright denied.

Claimed total refund if denied also.

Never got a cent back.

He still advertizes.

"Amazing 22 Year 100% Success Track Record!"

http://www.olvis.com/

Right before the interview Red flags flew as his girls in the Cebu office told my fiance not to mention that Olvis had done the paperwork!

OOPS! To late!

Last I heard he is still in business as a friend said he saw a big sign advertizing Olvis at the airport on Mactan island.

I am sorry to here that, but I got to tell you that I am not surprised because I live in Las Vegas and can tell you that they are alot of scammers in this city, they all seem money hungary just to loose it to the casinos. I have personally be scammed for hundreds of dollars since living here so I know how you feel, I would move but my wife's(from the Philippines) family lives here.

I talked to that guy once. He asked me if I was crazy! He said with so many women in the Philippines, why would I choose one that had a child? He suggested I dump Mary and go out to one of the provinces and get me one without kids. That was the first time and the last time I talked to him.If he treated my Mary like a commodity, imagine what he would have done with the paperwork?

I am just glad that I did not use him. He takes advantage of people and that is not right. I agree, and this is one person you do not want to use !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ranting::ranting::protest::protest:

Just to "drive the nail in further"!

http://mikeandannabel.tripod.com/

Posting this thread is the only way I can have some satisfaction

for the way Mike treated me and my fiance.

Won't get my money back but hopefully it may make him lose some business.

If I knew how to make a website I would do as the guy in the link did. Have it show up anytime people Googled Olvis or topics relating to philippine immigration services.

Hi Everybody. First off, I'd like to say that I found all of your posts very helpful. My brother wants to bring his girlfriend home from the Philippines and was going to use Olvis.com. I just have to ask, why haven't any of you complained about olvis.com to the better business bureau? (www.bbb.com) When my brother mentioned olvis.com to me, this was the first place I looked and there are NO complaints against this company whatsoever. When I googled them, I found a whole string of complaints.

Thanks again for sharing your experiences, and I wish you all the best of luck and lots of happiness.

I wish I had found this site before I hired good ole Mike myself. It has been two months and they still have not submitted the I-129F form. I am hoping and praying he does his job this one time. I have already paid him.
