Our joint sponsor is going through some hard time and decided they won't be helping us any longer. They have recently provided us with the most recent w2 (2024) and tax transcript (2024) but refuses to send the most recent 3 paystubs. They are saying if it is not enough then we can find someone else as they don't have time to communicate much.

1. Can we replace them?

2. If yes, does the new joint sponsor need to fill out the most recent i864 form or is it the same form we used to file, and bring all the supporting document?

3. Do we upload, mail, or bring the new joint sponsor documents with us to the interview?

Yes, a new JS can be used, have them fill out the latest I864 and if married, you may want the spouse to also fill out the I864A.  Take all of that along with their financial evidence supporting the I864 to the interview.  You also may need to make sure the I864 from your initial JS is withdrawn at the interview.

Good Luck!
