This should not be a story so much about illegal immigrants randomly killing. This is a story that should be more about child neglect and what the worst could happen when parents are not responsible. I feel terrible for the other daughter and the parents and grandparents but I think this could have been avoided IMHO.

I agree 100%!!! It's horrible but it's certainly something that should make everyone THINK... and act accordingly... it really doesn't matter this day in time if it's a boy or a girl... both should be carefully guarded at least until they reach a certain age and parents should give very little, if any regard to "embarrasing" your child. You are just being a responsible parent and making sure that your child is protected. They will appreciate it when they are in your position...

I was thinking that as well. I didn't really get why it seemed the "illegal alien"! part was emphasized and not the part where an irresponsible guardian could have prevented this entire tragedy by simply keeping watch on her younger sister (and of course, not letting her drink with 20 something year old men who are flirting with a 15 yr old).

hmmmm see what happens when illegals don't undergo a background check

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I agree - where were the parents? And what was the older sister thinking, letting her little sister drink and flirt with 20-something men. REALLY!!!!!!!! This could so have been prevented with a little care from the guardians.

Sure, I was embarrassed when my parents checked with my friends parents. It was embarrassing to have to check in and/or call my parents to let them know where I was going, who I was with and when I would be home. But now that I'm grown, I totally understand the WISDOM in that. And I'm DEFINITELY doing the same with my own kids.

Being parents involves a WHOLE LOT MORE than just giving birth and feeding/housing your children!!!!!!!!

Did you know that if Hillary has her way people like these would still be able to gain legal status? Clinton voted against an amendment to deny legal status to illegals convicted of crimes. I guess she wants to expand her base!!!

After reading through this thread, why in the hell are the victim and their families being blamed and chastized for what the perpetrators, illegal aliens, did to this girl? We have a right to feel and should be safe in OUR OWN COUNTRY. This young girl didn't deserve to happen this happen to her. It's not what the girl or her family did or did not do in this situation. It was solely the fact that illegal immigrants have invaded the US. Our laws, our standards, our rights, mean nothing to these invaders. They're doing whatever in the hell they want at the expense of all those who rightfully deserve to be here. The government fully shares the blame in this girl being killed. The blood is on their hands. Simply because they are NOT enforcing immigration laws. For illegal immigrant advocates, you can kiss it where it stinks! I want illegals out of MY country before another American citizen is killed! :ranting:

Joe.. once again.. you nailed it...

Thanks...

It is never a matter of .. right /wrong/legal or illegal..

IT IS IN FACT.. SIMPLY WRONG ..

for ANY MAN.. .. (note saying MAN) to do this to ANY CHILD..

Doesnt matter about where the parents were or what adult was the supervising factor here.

Tell me.. how many times do you know of cousins or friends .. visiting cousins or "Adult siblings" during summers-winter or some form of vacation times.

Any way it is spelled. it is still wrong.

BUT WORSE OF ALL.. these guys.. ADMIT to be here ILLEGALLY.. .. not only continued with their illegality and illegal actions.. .. read the articles... one of the cousins was picked up for DUI.. #######... just simply continuing with disrespect AND TOTAL DISREGAURD of the LAWS that MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY HAS SET for my PROTECTION AND THE PROTECTION OF MY FAMILY AND FELLOW CITIZENS

Love isn't love unless it is expressed;

caring isn't caring unless the other person knows;

sharing isn't sharing unless the other person is included

I wonder if the world is more corrupt now, or the media just lets us know what's really going on now?????

Whenever stuff like this happens it is conveniently the media's fault. They are not citizens nor guests of this nation so they should have no rights. Even if it means beating the ###### out of them..

This reminds me of Jose Padilla, who was caught as a terrorist yet apparently, based on his mothers views, "it was the media's fault for her sons negative image"..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
