Evidence of Engagement to Your Fiancé ?

what the consulates ask for differ in reference to evidence.... i was asked 4 questions and asked for photos... thats it... then i was given the Welcome to America and sworn in..........

All I can say is in November 2006 we did not have to include evidence of our engagement. That why I said "appears to be relatively new".

It was a requirement when we filed in August 2005. We included an engagement picture, a copy of the engagement ring receipt, and one or two "congratulations on your engagement" cards from family members.
