Marriage Certificate Rant

Alright this is my first rant on here but I must vent! So we got married in Las Vegas on 7-7-7. The minister is supposed to submit the paperwork to record our marriage within 10 calendar days. Guess what? It still hasn't been recorded. I have an order in for a certfied copy of the marriage certificate and a copy of the marriage abstract and it's sitting there waiting for someone to submit the paperwork. I have the original signed marriage certficate that was given to us on the wedding day, thank goodness. My husband has phoned the chapel several times to see what the problem is only to get the response 'the paperwork isn't our responsibility'. So I fired off an email to them to get the minister's contact information so I can find out what the problem is and no response. I've called and no answer. Truly truly aggrivating!

Oh believe me someone's getting in big 'doo doo' for this. As soon as I find out who I have to complain to heads are rolling. Especially if I get the husband to do it.

I finally got the answering machine at the chapel so I left a nice long message and we'll see if that gets returned.
