Thank you for all your good wishes.

I have been able to talk with Amanda on the phone, which has been helpfull to us both. Her pain is getting abit more intense now and she is asking for more painkiller. Her contractions don't seem to be giving her a break now and the midwife is going to examine her again now to see how far dialated she is. Amanda is coping so well and I am very proud of her, I have been calling her every half hour,thank god for the telephone!!!

Ohhhhhhhh she is still only 3cm dialated:( and has alot of pain now. I spoke with her mum in law and I could hear Amanda moaning alittle:( They don't want to give her any painkiller in case it slows the labour, she is only using gas and air at the moment. I will call back in half an hour as I have been doing all night, I want her to be pain free:(

Yes I am very emotional now, I keep asking John" when did I last call?" he laughs and says " probably 20 seconds since you last asked me!" I certainly hope the time is going faster for Amanda. Oh well I have 10 mins till I can call again:)

April A friend told me that she thought my ideal man lived in Wyoming or Montana.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

Nov 30 Medical

2006

Jan 5 Got interview date

Feb 1 Interview. APPROVED!

Feb 2 Visa delivered.

Feb 7 Flight to Seattle.

Feb 8 Finally back home in Missoula, MT. I'm happy, John's happy & the cats are ecstatic - together again!

Apr 22 Wedding Day!

May 6 Sent AOS application

May 7 Honeymoon

May 23 NOA date for AOS, EAD & AP

Update: I called and spoke with the MIL who is a very nice lady. Amanda had been given an injection and had fallen asleep for half and hour!! She did make me laugh though, Thomas, Amanda's hubby had said" This is the only baby we are having!, I can't stand the pain or the wait!" hahah then Amanda shouted" What do you mean the WEIGHT!" hahahah

She is coping very well and I am so very proud of her, she will be getting another examination in the next half hour.

Congratulations margy! Here's hoping that the baby is born sooner rather than later! Its horrible to be so far away and have to wait on the phone!
