Thank you mike.have researched helena town and i get your point.

This issue of social security i applied for mine months ago and still not ready.Will it affect my application?should i wait for the SSN which i dont know will be ready when.Last i contacted the office they just told me they have a back log.i should just wait

No i dont have a certificate of citizenship.well thats what the london office told me about the backlog?so what do i do

Some years back but when I applied for my SSN the lady asked me if I wanted to know the number, obviously said yes so she wrote it down for me. Card followed.

My understanding is that adults citizens who apply for an SSN require a CRBA, U.S. birth certificate, or a work authorization document issued by USCIS such as a certificate of citizenship. You can file N-600

No need to wait.

You can offer a clarification for the specific age/part/item number in that Addendum and state your SS app is pending and facing delays. …numbers obtained overseas ( for CRBA or passport only new USC ) are handled differently than  domestic process…and are likely backed up.

Ok noted.yeah they told me only my passport will do.i applied overseas from kenya
