Hi everyone, I’m new here and don’t really know how to use the forum but I’m still learning. So I want to apply for VAWA and kind of everything is clear but I still have some questions. Can I apply for VAWA if I don’t have my spouse a copy of his green card to show a prove of his immigration status. I basically have everything except this. Thank you in advance if anyone will answer.

So your spouse is a GC holder? Is that what you're saying?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Yes he is GC holder, but I don’t have a copy. I want to submit my application and I have all evidence except his copy of GC

You can make a sworn affidavit detailing the fact that you have seen his green card during your marriage ( in his wallet or where he kept in the house), include details he must have told about how / when he became an LPR ( via his parents, employment..or) .
