Filed for both parents in August 2021. One got approved Oct 2022. Still waiting on approval for the other parent.

Online case status says they are "actively reviewing your case". It's now been 16 months and way outside processing times. Filed a case inquiry a month ago and no response. Called USCIS hotline and it is impossible to get connected to an agent to get any info.

Has anyone been waiting longer than 16 months for a parent I-130 approval?

Has anyone experienced one parent getting approved and the other getting approved months alter?

How on earth do I get connected with a human being at the Uscis 800 number?!

Please let me know how many months it took for your parent's I-130 to be approved (filed by US citizen). We are at 16 months and wondering what is going on.

Also, one of my parent got approved at 14 months and the other one still waiting. Has this happened to anyone?

It's going to be almost 2 YEARS since I filed I-130 for parent of US citizen in August 2021  and still waiting.

We have put in multiple service inquiries, called USCIS customer service and get canned responses with no explanation as to why this is taking so long.

I have consulted with attorneys and they just said to wait some more and filing service inquiries.

Has anyone else been waiting this long?

Is there anything we can do to hurry approval or even get answers?

I am about to have my first child and sad my parent is not here already, please help.

Where is the petition in the process?

You've hardly given any meaningful info if you want help.

And yes, it can take this long.  Immigration takes years.  What were you expecting?
