What are the different experiences on filing online verdus in paper ? Off the bat online filing seems easier when we are in different parts of the world...

Another practical question , you need to submit 2 passport photos of both Petitioner and benificiary...  well i need to have them taken and snail mail them to my husband ?

File online. Not only is it easier, but after your case gets approved, the NVC creates case numbers for online-filed I-130 faster than it does for paper-filed I-130s.

No need to mail anything; just scan the 2"x2" photos and upload them online.

I agree, back when my now wife and I were doing the K1, she sent me a qualified .jpeg and I sized them and printed them out on photo paper for submission of the I129F (no online option for that process).  For your case it is even easier since you can file the I130 online which is much easier.

Good Luck!

As an aside, I grew up in Bay City and get there often, so it is nice to see someone from there in the VJ family.  😀

I prefer filing on paper.  Less data entry glitches.  Also, instructions are quite clear that the foreign spouse need not provide any passport photos if they are not currently in the USA.  Same goes for signing the I-130a.  Not required.  Those items not required are not required, no matter whether you file by mail or file online.  The wise folks that read ALL the instructions know this.
