Hello!

I have a question regarding an interview for AOS based on K1 visa.

Do I need to have an original I-797 (NOA2 from K1) for the interview?

Some backgrounds :

We did our K1 process with a help of an immigration law company, so when our petition was approved USCIS sent them an original I-797 and we got an official copy I-797C.

when I started to prepare my AOS package I noticed that and texted the company asking them to send me a scanned copy of the original I-797 via email (so I could go ahead and finish preparing AOS package), as well as to send the original document via postal mail.

They sent us a scanned copy, but nothing via postal mail.

I sent my AOS package, had biometrics.

So do I need the original I-797? Or could I use copy I-797C? Or I do not need it at all?

I had sent a copy of the I797 (NOA2) of the I129F approval for the K1 in the AOS package. I still have the original I797 and l797C
