Hello everyone, hope you all are doing good. The issue I have is that with Islamabad embassy in Pakistan, me and my fiancé have waited over an year under admin processing, they even asked him to resubmit medical which he did 27th dec, 2021. However, there is no movement in our case since February 23rd 2022. We have written several letters through inquiries to the embassy but just get told to wait. Will hiring an attorney help? Does anyone know a good one in Houston, Texas area? The reason I don’t want to choose spousal route is we both don’t wanna wait another admin/entire process timeframe and just want to marry each other and live together in the US. It has been 3 years since I’ve applied in total. Any suggestions?

Yeah I go every year to visit him, Isl Embassy is a whole runaround, they told me “we are going to issue it soon”, next inquiry they told me “it’s a mandatory process and we cannot tell how long and when”, the next inquiry they said “give us a month if you don’t her back then follow up”, this is what has been going on since June 8th, 2021 after my fiancés interview, it’s like our life’s are a joke to them, they don’t realize we are wanting to get married and waiting since 3 years. I am only saying all this because this is the truth and I hope someone reads it and takes an action or just do something about it.

Oh, I understand your frustration and it sounds like you are not giving up . Excellent that you go spend time together….it will happen for you, assuming they are able to clear him.

I found this thread , maybe it will help you connect.
I know there are multiple threads for different filings ( example delayed I-751 , other I-129 F filers where ALL freely vent/ complain/ rant and encourage each other in the wait). Try a few and keep posting

It’s a tough Consular Post but sounds like you are tough enough to stay actively in touch and try everything possible to let them know you are not going away quietly!
Found this thread today and a few smiles to boot thanks to its creator @Rocio0010 …
