Cairo Interview Updates?

Does anyone have any updates for interviews scheduled for Cairo? Can hardly find anyone from Egypt to put together a timeline or difficulty on being approved.

Hi Laura! I'm not sure if this is helpful, but in another group I'm in on Fcbk, someone said the US Embassy opens up their appointments every other Thursday.  I'd be happy to connect more with you as I think you and I are going through the same process.

Same here! I'm applying for my wife. I have looked at timelines and haven't seen a single interview for 2022 (either that or no one has updated their timeline!). Can you please refer me to the facebook group you mentioned?

Hi there! Sorry I don't come on Visa Journey that often! The Facebook group I mentioned is only for expat women in Egypt  Where are you in the visa process?

No worries! My husband had his medical today. Our interview is December 12th 😊

Oh wow, I'm so happy for you! All in all how long has the process taken you so far? How long did it take for them to approve your 1-130?

Thanks! We filed our CR1 petition October 30, 2021. Followed it up by filing the K3 petition in December. K3 denied and CR1 approved on February 15th by USCIS. NVC received it mid March and approved by them mid-May.
