No free appointment in any US embassy in Germania for Russian Citizen

I want to travel with my wife to the US for vacation. She applied for the visa, paid the money but got the message that there are no free interview appointments. The same message appears no matter if the location is Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt. Is there anything we can do? Feels a little bit like scam.

Have you tried contacting the consulates in Germany to see if they will take on this case?  Here is a thread discussing consulate changes specific to Russia that may be helpful.

You should check for an appointment every day. They don't release all the dates at once. 

 

Berlin has a wait time of 121 days.

You might be lucky and find something sooner. 

Read this thread of someone having to wait for appointments to open up and then getting an interview date for September 2022 and then finding an earlier one on May 20.

I do not see any option to contact them. The phone is answered by a robot. The alternative number is not possible to call. The chat is not answered.

It is supply and demand.   The wait time for B2 interviews is as much as a year or more at many consulates.  Just keep checking your consulate web site.

The OP is asking about a non-immigrant tourist visa; the link on changing the Embassy does not apply to tourist visas. 

 

There is no need to contact an Embassy or Consulate, as all they will do is refer the inquirer back to their appointment system.  No Embassy/Consulate approval is needed to make a tourist visa appointment anywhere in the world, depending on appointment availability.  (It should be noted, however, that the likelihood of the visa application being approved is usually reduced if someone applies outside their home country).

 

Because of limited availability for appointments, the one-year validity of MRV fees has been extended.  I believe they are all now valid until Dec. 31, 2023.

It's a good idea to check the current wait times before paying the fee and booking an appointment. For Russians, there is an option to apply in Krakow, Poland where the wait time is only listed as 22 days. Russians and other third country nationals are allowed to apply at consulates/embassies in Poland for B visas.

 

For you current situation, either wait until an appointment becomes available or consider switching to Poland for a faster appointment. You will have to repay the fee and fill out the DS-160 all over again, and you'll lose the fee you paid to Germany, however.

Hello! I saw on awd forum some people were able to see free spots at night 2-7am Moscow time.

Also Poland will stop visa interviews for non-residents from April 1rst.

"No appointments available" is not an error message.  It means they are busy.
