I am trying to prepare to file adjustment of status for my husband, we will be meeting with our lawyer soon.   Do you submit bank statements, tax returns, and pictures of ya'll together with the i-131, i-485. i-864, etc  concurrent filing?   or do you show bank statements, tax returns, lease agreements, pictures of ya'll together at the green card interview?

Thank you!  😃

Your lawyer should give you a list of everything he needs.

If you read the instructions you will see that you must submit tax documents and proof of income/assets with the affidavit of support. So yes, you must submit them in the package.

If you're talking about proof of relationship, that can be brought straight to the interview.

We will be seeing our lawyer hopefully in September 2021 to file everything needed concurrently and I have been doing a lot of research before we meet with the lawyer to be as prepared as possible to file.   I know that at the green card interview you can show them pictures of yourselves but How many pictures should did you include when you filed.   I have prepared 4 pictures on one paper of wedding photos etc on regular paper so its not too heavy and I have 8 pages of photos - so 32 pictures prepared to submit but I am wondering if I should save pictures for the green card interview.   We already have a lot going against us so I want to do it all right.   Thanks!  😃

IMHO, a dozen picture is more than sufficient.  What do you mean by "We already have a lot going against us "?  Good luck.

You mention you're filing concurrently.  What visa are you adjusting from?  Just asking so this thread can be moved to the proper sub-forum if necessary.

We have a lot going against us because I am way older than him;  I read that is a red flag.  He has been out of status for almost 7 years as I tried to earn enough income to sponsor him - we couldn't find a co sponsor.  I worked very hard, first becoming a certified pharmacy technician so I could earn more money, then I moved us 2500 miles across country to make more an hour so I could make enough to sponsor and now I finally can.  I feel awful its taken this long, I have done my best for us.   So he entered the country to see me on a 90 day ESTA  visa waiver and couldn't fly back when it was time to leave, right at the end of his ESTA because he became very ill and he has been with me ever since.  So we need to adjust status and file for a marriage green card i-130, i-485, i-864 etc    I am never sure what topic to put my questions in, sorry and thanks!  :)

Are there certain pictures I should save and bring to the green card interview?   We have been living together and happily married for 6.5 years but because I am quite a bit older than him I worry they will be hard on us.   Thanks again!  :)

I don't see any immigration issues based on what you have posted.  Be aware that he cannot legally work in the US until he receives an EAD, so don't forget to file the I-765.  Good luck.

I'm not sure why you need an attorney.  I would save that money and file the I-485 package sooner. Once a proper I-485 has been filed, he will be granted authorized stay in the US until the adjustment of status has been approved or denied.
