I’m not sure RE the automated message…? Maybe it’s the time you are calling? He first called this number: 603-334-0888. That was the one which gave him the weird message. Then he called this: 603-334-0700 and he got it

This is what happens when you try calling anytime past 7, my fiance is in Colorado and had to make the call at 5am her time to get someone on the phone. Will try calling back next week to see if our case number is ready.

that means the call volume is too high so they automatically disconnect the call. You either have to call first thing in the morning or later in the evening..

Just wondering if everyone here signed up for the email with the NVC? I just realized it was listed as step 1 on the document provided on this thread and my fiancé probably had no idea he had to do that. He'll be calling NVC to check up on our case as it will be 30 days since our NOA2 was received.

We didn’t - our lawyer told us an email would come so we just sat and waited then ended up calling them for the number and getting it that way.

one thing I realise my fiancé and I didn’t know to ask for was the invoice ID number. So we went and signed up for the email update thing anyhow in case it will come. Otherwise he will have to call them back and get the invoice ID.

Should I tell my fiancé to ensure they provide an invoice ID when he calls? I've inundated him in links from the NVC site before he does so on Monday and it seems as though I'm constantly learning new things they may have forgotten to mention. 😅

Thank you for the response! It does get overwhelming when there are so many sources to refer back to. I just never want to miss anything. My fiancé will be calling the NVC tomorrow and we will be following the instructions in the Google doc posted here.

In case anyone else is like me and needs it condensed to refer back to quickly while calling:

I'm not sure what our received date would be considered. He called today and got all the information. Gonna do a little more research before I update my timeline.

I got mine to! (In transit). It also states "your interview date was provided to you by the nvc". I can't see any interview date anywhere and I thought with London you had to choose one?. Can anyone advise, am I missing something..so confused what to do now?? 🤯
