Is it necessary to label pictures? 
 

example: "picture from party"

 

"picture from trip to XYZ"

I don't think it would hurt. It puts them into context if you label them with dates, location,  who's in the pictures, etc. Considering the general consensus seems to be that pictures are not strong evidence, if you do submit them I think it would be helpful to label them!

@Joe30 I would recommend labeling the pictures. Include names and dates. If it's a picture that you took during a trip, I would also show plane tickets or boarding passes. 

Pictures are not very strong evidence but they do add up, and can help sway the officer in your favor when they have to decide whether to approve your case by preponderance of evidence.

Can these pictures be made into a collage? 4-5 pages per page (labeled) and then printed? Is that okay?

@Joe30, we did 2 per page and used word. We pasted the pictures onto word and entered a description right below each one. I know of people using powerpoint and arranging up to 4 per page. I think that would be fine, too.
