Chick-fil-A announced last week that it was limiting the amount of sauce it could give out to customers, citing industry-wide supply chain issues. As a result, the chain said it would only give customers one cup of sauce per item.

The sauce shortage is clearly an attack on democracy and everything we hold dear, or so Republicans seem to think.

Cruz went so far to say that shortage showed that Biden was “destroying America.”

Meanwhile, Boebert’s response to a fast food chain having a sauce shortage was asking an open question: “Is there no limit to how awful Biden’s America can get?”

You can buy a giant ketchup-sized bottle of all the different types of Chick-fil-A sauces in the store now. Glug to their heart's content. Maybe the political-complainers haven't been inside a store in some time. It's honestly doubtful they've really eaten at a Chick-fil-A recently either.

No, but you probably have better options for a great chicken sandwich close by. I miss my favorite in Berkeley at a place called Grégoire. :( There aren't any nearby where I live now that I really rate (the one at Shake Shack around the corner is a a distinct meh) so I have to really want one to get one. A quality problem!

I must admit I loathe Shake Shack's attempt at what they call chicken. Whatever that sous vide nonsense is comes out rubbery and... wet. The flavor profile is... weird. They have a cookbook with the supposed recipe but I don't think that's what I taste when I eat it. We have a ton of options here when it comes to fast chicken. Most will choose Chick-fil-A. It's hard to beat. Locals love Royal Farm's chicken though and you have to admit the concept of gas station chicken is odd until you taste it. It puts KFC to shame.

We have gas station everything around here -- one of the best Indian places nearish to me started at a Chevron.
