I'm surprised as well. Queens NY

@Myjour the NBC processes everything up until your case status changes to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". We got to that stage within a month or two and then waited for 15 months for an interview. Interview scheduling depends 100% on how busy your field office is.

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

At least I'm hoping that my EAD gets approved sooner. What you said makes sense since the OF by default has to be a very busy one. On that note, I have a friend that got his bio taken and 20 days later he got his EAD, that happened in January, he's having his interview on July 20th. I just think some people get luckier than others and we'll know it once we go through the process. Regards and thanks.

Are you filing marriage based? And what status are you adjusting from?

I am hoping to get an EAD soon, so I can move around more freely and explore different job opportunities.

I filled for marriage based AOS and currently have an E-1 Visa.

Your comment about your friend gives me hope but a lot of people who filed in January/February are only now getting their Bios. So happy to see that you already got yours.

I'm filing marriage based and from B2.

I'm glad you're feeling hopeful. Although, each case is different for many people, we know that. I honestly was expecting my bio to come thru by October or November as things are going on right now. Queens NY is a heavy populated County so I am not expecting interviews anytime soon, maybe early next year or something like that.

Finally today my check is cashed and I received text messages with receipt numbers. I had to email lockbox support for this to happen.

@USC4SPOUSEdid you get EAD? If so, how long after taking bio?

@Myjour yes, got the EAD 4 to 5 months after filing. That was consistent with the processing times at the time.
