I went for my greencard interview 4 days ago in Dallas field office, in my opinion, I think it went well. We were asked about our relationship and confirmation of the questions on the forms we filled. We submitted a lot of evidence and mere thinking about it, it was enough. The officer was good but she said she would have to look at our documents and see if she would approve us or call us back for another interview. I don't know what that really means but its been days now and I dont see anything on my status change. I don't know why I am so worried. I need help. When I asked her how long it would take for us to hear from them, she replied 2 to 4 weeks.

I don't know if anyone has gone through something like this.. Please help

Most of us have gone through it.

No need to worry about it now.

There must have been some flag if she was talking about bringing you in for another interview.  Most of them say something like they need to review the documents and case before approval.

My wife came to the US on an F1 visa about 10 years ago.

She didn't say for sure that she was going to bring us back. She said she was going to review the documents and if she needs to call us back or need something more that we would know between two weeks to a month. I think we sent more than 15 joint items, I know I am just stressing but I like to know for sure.

Hey,

I have found myself in your situation. Been waiting for a response for 11 days now and wondering how things went for you.

I'm in a similar situation. My fiance had his K-1 interview 11 days ago and the status has never changed from "Ready to schedule an interview". The date changed one time, 5 days after the interview, but the status did not. I hope that means they're working on it. I've never contacted them (yet) but if it doesn't change next week I'll probably reach out. I just hope this is normal since most people seem to get Refused or AP status!

They are to respond within 30 days after the interview so I hope it's an approval for me. I have waited exactly 1.5 years and this final stretch is tough. Best wishes to you!

We did not get a decision on the spot, and were told that it could take 30-90 days to get a decision, so I am not sure where you are getting the 30 day requirement from.  He also told us that they are backlogged due to Covid, and it can take longer.  However, we had an RFE to update the medical within 3 days, and an approval within 2 days after they received the medical.

The lady who interviewed us told us she will have her supervisor review and we should have a response in a few days. I also googled and some websites do say 30 days. I have seen one that does say 30-90 days and I hope we don't have to wait that long! Congratulations on your approval!
