Hello all,

yes my parents have a French passport. They checked their ESTA and it is still valid for a couple more months.

they were going to take another company like Southwest to go from Mexico to the US.

Will check into ESTAs being cancelled. Air France mentioned ESTAs weren't giving any rights to get into the US

Thank you so much!

Well they are not flying Air France to the US.

The Air France person they spoke to may well be going on the fact that they can’t fly straight to the US and extrapolating it. Not the first time airline staff have got stuff wrong. A number of people posted here and other forums that they have successfully spent two weeks elsewhere then gone to USA.

By the way an ESTA never gives you the “right” to go into the US, only citizens have a right to enter.

Be sure the entire trip is booked before leaving, regardless whether they return via Mexico or go straight from the US to France.
