I-30 for Parents

I submitted my mother’s petition in September 30 and received a receipt that it has been received and it’s at Nebraska. Almost 3 months had passed and still no updates. Due to the current situation Is this normal or should I wait for an update or is it ok to check with them for an update? 
 

Any input will be much appreciated.

Normal.  Current estimate for I-130 processing at Nebraska service center for parent of US citizen is 7 to 9 months -- https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
