Hi. I ve been DQ since Dec 9th 2019. Started the whole process on Feb 2018. Hopefully with this new administration,  that consulate can get the hell out of Haiti and we get a better one. I did some research comparing the number of visas between Haiti, DR and Jamaica. Dr has received almost 3x the amount haiti has received in feb. Jamaica has also received more. If that is not discrimination against haiti, then i don't know what else.

Good Morning, I am waiting for the 3 interviews i did post in the portal the last update that they are working on very few visas. I also wrote the embassy and they tell me because of covid not much staff but yet they are taking passport and other services everyday. I agree everyone else is moving except Haiti and it's crazy

The civil unrest in Haiti plays a huge role as well- I get security alerts from the embassy practically every other day and this affects the staffs ability to work. Not to mention this all went on prior to COVID as well and the embassy has had to shut down numerous times -sometimes for weeks at a time- in the past few years. I don't think this happens in Jamaica or the DR. So to just chalk it up to discrimination I think is incorrect. I understand your frustration though and 2018 is a LONG wait. Have you reached out to your local congressman as you are outside of normal processing times. I hope your visa gets approved soon.

I have to agree. However, Haiti itself is a whole mess! I love Haiti, but we need a change.

Me and My fiance have been waiting since 2019 for him to get his visa. We started the process September of 2019. We’re done with everything, we’re just waiting on the interview. But unfortunately haiti 🇭🇹 does not want to open immigration, and alot of people are upset!

I applied for my mom and currently waiting for an interview.  I read somewhere on NVC that after my mom's interview she can request for a visa for my brother. Can someone explain this to me and what are the chances of it being approved. It's been almost 2 years since I applied for her. The process is so slow I just want both of them here already. Btw I did add my brothers name on the application.

Hello guys, do you know how can I find the police certificate if I’m not currently in Haiti ?

My husband is in Haiti..but what I did because everything was closed was right a letter saying the circumstances and uploaded it. It was approved they just said you might need for the interview.
