Hi there :)

I am currently supporting my dad in filling out all the paperwork and to schedule an pointment with the NVC.

So far, everything went smooth, all payments have been made etc. Right now, we uploaded all relevant documents and cant click on the "submit" button. My sister ( 27 and married) and me (30 and unmarried) are not interested in joining our parents. However, we are listed under under "applicant information". Could it be, that the documents cant be submitted until every applicant has made payment and uploaded the necessary civil documents?

That would mean, that my dad needs to remove us from the application. But in order to be able to remove us, he needs to upload a document as "proof". I have no idea what would suffice as that? Do my sister and and I need to write a paper where we state, we are not intending to immigrate ot the united states? What else could be a proof? I hope you can help me and my dad out :)

Thanks a lot for your help in advance, I really appreciate it :)

regards

It is F4, yes :)

I am not familiar with the marriage/age restrictions. Since we want to be removed from the application it doesnt really matter anyways I guess :) Do you think us not having filled out the application might be the reason for my dad not being able to submit his documents?

And if so, what documents are required to be able to remove my sister and myself? For my sister, a marriage certificate should be enough then. And for me? I just send a copy of my ID card and a note, that I have aged out?

You don’t need any reason other than you don’t want to go, anyway. The US doesn’t force anyone to immigrate, lol.  I’m not sure why it’s not allowing submission, has anyone contacted NVC?
