Did you file online or via mail? My husband submitted His online on September  6th and almost immediately got a case number. I see he is getting something in the mail today from USCIS. It’s probably his actual receipt/NOA letter. When he logs in to his account it says estimated completion is December 2021 and at the very bottom it says that same message you mentioned about it taking longer than expected. We aren’t overly worried about it since he still has plenty of years before his GC expires. 
Good luck to us all and here’s hoping it gets done quicker than they estimate.

My window opens next week and I plan to submit the docs week after next . For those filing under the 5 year rule , any additional documents we need to upload other than GC and Marriage certificate ?

I finally submitted my N-400 application online. Hopefully this goes smoothly, but I'm expecting major delays. Good luck everyone - so good to be in the final phase of this insane journey! 

EAD/AP: 02/14/17 - 05/26/17 (101 days)

AOS: 02/14/17 - 06/20/17 (126 days)

ROC: 05/19/19 - 04/23/20 (340 days)

 

N-400: (249 days)

9/13/2020- Application filed online 

9/21/2020 - NOA1 received 

12/10/2020 - NOA2 biometrics reuse

2/2/2021 - NOA3 N-400 interview scheduled for 3/16/2021

3/8/2021 - NOA4 N-400 interview cancelled 

3/15/2021 - NOA5 N-400 interview re-scheduled 

4/27/2021 - Interview (approved)

4/28/2021 NOA6 Oath ceremony scheduled 

5/20/2021 - Oath ceremony

I got that message too about taking longer than expected. It counted down from 4 days for some reason.

 

I do have a case number beginning with IOE, but I believe that is just for the initial online case. Once the case is transferred to a local office i think it might change, but I could be wrong?

Estimated completion date- May 2020. (8 month)

 

I-751 is still pending.  filed under 3 Year rule "ready to be scheduled for an interview"

Mine is saying 13 months (October 2021) 

my I-751 extension notice will expire in May 2021!

so really not sure what am gonna do 😭

my i-751 18 month extension expire in June 2021..  I am not sure how accurate this estimated completion date are .. do you know- when will we know which office is processing my file ?
