Asylum based i485 please help

I’m helping my husband with his Asylum based i485 form. If he wants to explain his answers to part 8 questions, can he write explanations next to the questions? These are just some simple explanations, like two words. Or he has to write them on part 14. Thank you!

 

and is adjusting status same as application to be registered as permanent residence?

Are you a US citizen? If so, why would your husband be filing an asylum claim? He can file a standard marriage-based application for permanent residence, assuming he arrived legally.

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Hi. I’m a permanent resident. He arrived illegally, and we weren’t married when he filled his asylum application

This is not going to be a DIY case. You should seek advice from a lawyer well-versed in matters concerning asylum and illegal entry.
