The thing that makes me concerned is when people think institutions will save us all on their own. If they are poisoning the American political discourse and torching cities, why would they simply allow elections to proceed as normal? You can't assume things happen in a normal fashion when people have shown they don't care about laws, stability, or democracy. They want power.

We have a dem senate candidate running here who is leaning toward the center. Then I realize he will vote with the clowns who put on that embarrassing La LA land effort to keep Kavanaugh off the bench,  tried to impeach Trump for inquiring about Biden's son getting paid off in the Ukraine, and spent many many months with a fake russia investigation

I am an Asian prospective immigrant (pending AOS), and I have very mixed sentiments about BLM movements. To be bluntly honest, I would not want to be a black man in the US because of a few times I saw  a completly ordinary black dude getting "random" searches. There is definitely regional racism that well extends to that region's law enforcements.But at the same time, most of BLM protestors ignore racism that other races face, which grates on my nerve.
