Entering through San Francisco

Probably not the correct place for this. But....

Direct flights to where I'm at keep getting canceled so my wife will be going through SFO to get her visa stamped. (LA and Guam are also options).

As anyone here gone through SFO since COVID started to visa stamped?

If so how was it slow, busy, etc.

How long did it take to get through customs?

Thanks

*~*~*POE question moved to “moving to the US”*~*~*

You can check the average wait times at various times of the day on the CBP website. However, these are just averages. I spent 2.5 hours in secondary when I arrived with my visa. Others got through in 15 minutes.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

We arrived at LAX yesterday afternoon. Airport was rather empty. It took us approximately 1 hour to get through customs, get our visas stamped and pick up our luggage. Staff was very very nice and welcoming. So if SFO doesn't work out for you, I'd highly recommend LA ;)

Good luck!!
