Does anyone know when the embassy on Mars will reopen? Have they even got the news yet? Trying to get my bride here on the little used ET-1 visa.

Right?! I hope the outbreaks won't affect us, but I am doubtful. Might be time to move to NZ and swap embassies at this rate haha

I know two people from Brazil who have an interview date for early august, they sent an email asking if they were gonna have the interview or if the interview was going to be canceled, the consulate replied saying the interviews stand, so it looks like Brazil might be opening in august.

I just don't think they will say anything before july 15th, they're probably not authorized to do so

Information for visa applicants regarding US Embassy in Mars:  As of March 16, the United States Embassy in Mars is cancelling all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments.  The Consular Section of Olympus Mons is closed until Elon Musk saves us all with memes or Dr. Manhattan decides to leave humanity behind to live on Mars. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.
