Took Mini-Bone out to try to get his hairs cut, but every place was closed.  He was overjoyed.

Took him to a BBQ restaurant way far away.

Then went to a closing-down Sears* to get him some bigger clothes.

     * "closing-down Sears" is a sad redundancy

 

Took Mini-B. home, then went to Goodwill for more clothes.

Found him 10 pieces for $19.

Washed/baked them, then Mini-B. tried all on.

Every piece fit, so our record in buying him clothes is still perfect.

 

For supper, made 4th-of-July hot dogs (4 me, 3 him).

Mini-B. dubbed them "Better than OK!" and less sloppy than Mrs. T-B. makes them.

Then read together about Independence Day on a nice website for kids.

 

So today, Mini-B. ingested:

  -- 2 bowls chocolate Cheerios, breakfast

  -- huge Texas Burger plus French fries, lunch

  -- half a green apple, snack

  -- 3 hot dogs with ketchup/mustard, supper

He is a chip off the old ravenous block, DNA confirmed.  

 

Mini-B. is now wearing a Sears shirt and Goodwill nightpants, dapper wee man.

Later, we shall watch televised fireworks.
