Waiting for the embassy to open

I and my family were scheduled for an interview in the American Embassy in Lagos on the 26th of March 2020. But the Covid 19 ban came up and we were asked to wait till the embassy resumes. We are hoping it happens fast because medical expires in September. 2020

Immigrant . my father filed in for me and my siblings in 2006  before I got married . when NVC started contacting me, my marital status had already changed, so my family was carried along. We can sent all documents, we have gone for medicals  in Nigeria and our interview scheduled for 26th of March 2020 before the whole delay by Covid 19. My father has been expecting us

Ok, so you are category F3, married son/daughter of US citizen? This category has a temporary ban on visa issuance under the presidential proclamation until the end of the year, so the earliest you will get a rescheduled interview is next year. Unfortunately by that stage you will have to redo the medical when you get your rescheduled interview notice.

Hey. I was interviewed on the 15 of January and was giving a form 221g under INA INA 212a4. 

And was told to submit additional documents. 

And scrolling through uscis and nvc websites I saw this. 👇

Ps. Still waiting for my documents to be reviewed by the embassy. Just wanted to hear your opinion about this.

Attached is a screenshot. 

Everything will be on hold until the presidential proclamation expires. If you did not have a valid visa before 22 April, they cannot issue a visa until next year, even if you already interviewed and even if they already reviewed any additional documents submitted.

Hello, We just had another medical in Lagos. We have been re scheduled for interview next month. We have also done a new police clearance. I and my husband and kids are ready. Can u please give further advice. Thank u
