Hello VJmembers! I hope everyone is safe and well. I'm trying to figure where or how to find a place that does translations for important documents such a degrees, records any kind of official papers. Where should I look into to get those done? Is there some kind of office to search via State and city to see where those places provide those services. (In the USA of course). Any leads will be appreciated!

I wish I was but no. I was able to find a bunch of places that also can notirize it so it can official. But I wanted to see if there was like an official place like in a court or city hall.

I used this a while back to translate some Spanish documents. I had no problem with USCIS.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

If you have an internet connection and a computer the first place would be to search for "USCIS translation + Location".  Once you find them call them on the phone for more information. It is as simple as that

duh

If the translation is for the USCIS, you can get a friend or acquaintance to do it. No professional services needed.

It's not for USCIS. It's to just to have in general. Considering my all Fiancés documents aren't in English. The ones needed for the interview are already in process of being translated. But they only do specific forms. It's weird.

Most translations are made based on scanned documents, so, given that you're not in a rush, if you have a planned trip to Algeria, send them ahead of time and just pick up the translations while there.

It will certainly be cheaper than getting them officially translated here.

I also used this service to translate birth certificates.  They did a really nice job and it only took 2 or 3 days.  Costs about $20-25 per page.

Try SpanTran.  They give you the option of scanning a copy of your transcript and degree certificate .. paying $85 extra.. and they will get it verified by the institution.

warning... DONT use World Evaluation Services  right now,  as they are not mailing out any hard copies of their accreditation reports to either you or the agency you need the report for .. my report has been completed by WES June 5 but the agency I am dealing with for teacher certification won’t accept electronic reports .. only hard copy. $265 wasted.
