Also, they take your photo digitally now. I received an email ahead of the appointment that they've switched to digital and I didn't have to bring any photos.

You can be getting your things ready for the medical...4 passport photos, health care summary, shots/shot record, police certificate, and filling out the questionnaire. See their website. http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/us-bring.htm
How to make the appointment http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/us.htm

Just to follow up on this - do i need to ask my GP for health care summary letter?

As for shots record - does it need to be somehow certified? I've had my shots done back in Poland when I was a kid. I managed to get a copy of my shots card with them listed on it. Do i need to translation for it?

All booked for start of July!

For anyone wondering, if you already have the police certificate, they can see you as soon as Wednesday. They are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and require you to have an email confirmation from NVC with your LND number, and your full name. I made sure that it was okay that I hadn't been transferred to the embassy yet and she said that was fine.

I suppose as long as you're comfortable with the 6 month rule, it's okay to book a medical at the moment if you can get an email from NVC.

How did your appointment go? :)  happy to hear some experience, as we're about to start booking the appoitment.

Never went, have cancelled it for now until I get some good news on K1’s! Sorry I don’t have anything else to report - I’m sure others will be able to share their experiences though!

Yes, you ask for the summary, but just the shorter version. Apparently there’s a longer one which visamedicals don’t need.

Certified? I’m unsure. I’ve lived in the U.K. my whole life so it’s contained within the medical summary. I just requested my ‘immunisation history’. You might be able to ring visamedicals in London and ask though? Otherwise someone on here might be able to help.

thanks! We're just waiting for our fee to process and will be submitting the form to NVC. So will call the visamedicals soon to find out exactly :)

I've moved to UK after graduating university so unfortunately they don't have my immunisation history here.
