  For the month or so since I first saw this, I couldn't come up with anything positive. I did realize today that grocery pickup is saving me a lot of time (and sometimes money). I've put the extra few hours a week into some really good long bike rides, and almost doubled my max distance. Probably will continue to do grocery pickup going forward. 

 

  Everything else about Covid-19 has been negative.

Yes, it appears many companies are thinking about permanent telework policy which hasn’t reduced their productivity, but saved companies tons of money during this pandemic. One of my friends works for one the other largest banks and he told me that they are also seriously considering permanent telework policy for all administrative support staff, marketing, and sales staff.  They are even considering stopping the travels and conduct business over video conferencing when economy opens back up.

For my "Other" answer: trying to find a job in the States while abroad has been made easier by the fact that most job interviews are digital at the moment, so instead of having to be an awkward exception, I'm just the norm 😆 Like many things about the pandemic though, it will not last...

That's a good point.  Definitely, COVID-19 promoted video conferences at work many folds.  This would save companies tons of money in travel post COVID-19.

That’s nice of insurance companies to do that. I have Geico as well and received the discount on my existing coverage as well as for my next renewal.
