Let's hope there is some more clarification later today as to what exactly is meant by suspension. If he were to automatically deny all current applicants I'm going to lose it cause so much time and money would be lost.

Just read everything on this topic.

It's mostly speculation and people freaking out.

Take a breath, wait for clarification. We know nothing so far, just need to wait and see.

Everything is already shut down because of this virus. We literally have to wait few weeks before we have any clarity. Stay safe, don't overthink it.

Dear People, good day!

As you all might have found our already, Donald Trump made a Tweet about his intention to shortly sign an order for the temporary suspension of the immigration to the United States. His concerns are fully understandable.

Although, “temporarily” can mean 15 days, 6 months or 5 years.

In this connection, I, personally, do not think, that this is fair to the family-based visas, which, a priori, should be prioritized.

Mr. President, in his Tweet, did not clarify anything about his decision and the consequences, that it can bring.

What are you guys thinking on this matter?

Do you think it will affect wives, husbands and other immediate relatives?

I really need to hear your feedback, as there are so many people, that are in the very process of immigration right now, being apart from their family members.

I understand every single person, who is in this situation right now, and wish all of you strength.

P.S. My husband and I are now in the middle of the immigration process. Our spousal visa was approved by the USCIS in December, 2019 and now we are at the stage of NVC. Suspending anything at this stage would just be brutally illegal.

What defines public health emergency for u and what defines for me and what defines it for trump, could all be different . For some this emergency will last till there is wide spread vaccination given to public and that means over a year. For some there is no emergency needed as of now, and so on

What is really important is what defines it for the federal courts where any EO will definitely end up.
